Number 1 on my wishlist: Nikon D3000

So, my mom and dad were here for 3 weeks, to see the new baby, and help us get through those first weeks with three kids. My dad brought his new camera with him, a Nikon D3000 Digital SLR, which is the most awesome digital camera you can buy for under $500 these days.

Of course, he had to take advantage of the nice exchange rate between the Euro and the US Dollar, and buy himself a nice zoom lens for it, and with the vibration reduction even I can take good pictures. Just look at this picture of a bluejay that visits our backyard:

Needless to say, this thing has now officially moved up to the number 1 position on my wishlist...
