The relationship between crap & kids

Raltionship between kids & crap

While spending a couple of hours in the garage, trying to get it back in a condition where both cars would fit in it again, I was wondering why this was necessary.

When we first moved in this house, there was so much room we didn't really know what to do with it. I admit, we did put some stuff in the house that made it look a little less roomy, like a desk, furniture, a TV, a bed and some other stuff, but that really made the house more comfortable to live in.

After living here for a couple of years though, we are running out of room. After analysing what we have in the house, I think it is best illustrated with a little pie-chart:

Pie Chart

And as to why the sudden increase in the amount of crap we have to stow away in the attic, closets and the garage, I've analysed this as well, with another diagram (after all, a picture is worth more than a thousands words, right?):

Kids vs Crap

You see that unfortunately the amount of crap is in reciprocal proportion to the chance of taking a nap during the day. However, the amount of money we spend on batteries seems to be directly proportional to it.

I'm no saying this is a bad thing. Just analysing it.

And yet, surprisingly, another little Schop is on the way!
