Om het leven hier nog iets makkelijker te maken, heb ik nu dan ook maar een echt Amerikaanse auto aangeschaft. 't Is een Chevrolet Caprice uit 1989, er zit een 5.0 liter V8 motor in, en hij is veel te groot. Hij kostte niet veel, want niemand wil zo'n ding hier hebben, tenzij je een arme maar ambitieuze rapper bent die in een achterbuurt woont, of een domme Europeaan die zulke dingen gewoon leuk vindt. En om het helemaal compleet te maken heb ik vandaag ook mijn Ohio Drivers License gehaald, een theorie en praktijk examen moesten hiervoor afgelegd worden. Belachelijk makkelijk allemaal, en het heeft me in totaal 22 dollar gekost. Daar krijg je in Nederland waarschijnlijk 5 minuten rijles voor. Het praktijk examen, inclusief de maneuverability test duurde ongeveer 10 minuten denk ik, en op een schaal van 0 tot 100 had ik 88 punten (en je hebt er dus 74 nodig).
